Clinical Support Specialist – West of Switzerland
Reporting to the Clinical Training Lead, the CSS will provide expert clinical, technical support, and product assistance to physicians and EP lab staff. The role involves supporting the effective use of Biosense Webster’s systems and catheter equipment during Cardiac Electrophysiology procedures mainly in Western Switzerland.
Objectives of the Position:
* Provide support during electrophysiology interventions for BWI 3D Navigation system (CARTO 3) and other BWI technologies.
* Assist in seeking sales opportunities and achieving business goals within the territory.
* Support customer needs using consultative selling techniques.
* Coordinate servicing, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and software with the European Technical team.
* Create awareness of BWI solutions and facilitate contact with key decision-makers.
* Engage in dialogue with business partners to develop solutions.
* Enhance customer support capabilities through planning, collaboration, and communication.
* Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital staff.
* Stay current on product instructions, methodologies, troubleshooting, and scientific literature.
* Prioritize and respond to requests effectively under pressure.
* Train new team members.
* Handle daily requests via email and phone from customers and partners.
* Perform administrative tasks including CRM management, documentation, and compliance.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
* Educational background in (bio)technical engineering or previous experience as an Electrophysiology nurse.
* 1-3 years’ experience in the medical device field, preferably cardiology.
* Experience with market introduction of new technology and working with key opinion leaders is advantageous.
* Service-, support-, solution-, and result-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and responsibly.
* Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
* Fluent in English; French, German, Italian are advantageous.
* Valid Swiss residence and work permit required.
* Valid code B driver’s license required.
What you will need to succeed:
The successful candidate will demonstrate an analytical mindset, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. They should be proactive in addressing customer needs and based in the Lausanne area.
