Head of Technology and IP Management 100%

We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.
In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What You Will Do
* Establish and maintain the technology management processes at Comet PCT
* Collaborate with the R&D sites to develop the division’s technology roadmap and execute toward its medium to long long-term strategy
* Manage the portfolio of technology development projects and other innovation activities across all product groups and partner with PCT’s market organization to align emerging technologies to our customer roadmaps
* Build a network of external partners and engage in technology networks to drive outside-in innovation
* Establish university collaboration programs and drive the technology marketing
* Manage the division’s IP portfolio, monitor the patent landscape and coordinate all activities to protect our intellectual property
What You Bring
* Advanced degree in electrical engineering, physics or similar fields, where solid technical background in RF technology and embedded systems is a big plus
* Proven track record of developing, publishing and patenting new technology and experience with technolgy development and IP management in an industrial setting (~10 years)
* Ability to analyze technology and market developments and turn into practical strategies
* Cross-functional collaboration, moderation of expert teams and strong project management skills
* Fluent in English, German is a big plus
