* Development and validation of identification algorithms for fungal spores that cause allergies and damage crops
* Development, qualification and documentation of operational tools
* Scientific analysis and synthesis, drafting of technical and activity reports, as well as scientific publications
* Regular monitoring of activities and deadlines; leveraging internal and international collaboration to achieve project goals
This makes you unique
* University degree or equivalent in biology, environmental science, statistics, mathematics or similar, followed by a PhD
* Good knowledge of data management and statistics
* Ability to analyse data using standard Linux tools and appropriate programming languages (e.g. Python)
* Experience in machine learning a plus strong commitment to promote innovation, teamworking and networking skills
* Knowledge of English and of at least one national language
In a nutshell
As an Innovation Fellow, you will spend a year driving forward a key challenge facing the Federal Administration and independently developing new approaches for more efficient services. You will work on topics with a direct impact, use your tact and sensitivity in dealing with stakeholders, and at the same time benefit from interesting conditions, valuable contacts and real opportunities to shape the future.
