Job Description We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Engineer in Training for our Life Cycle Services department.
Engineer in Training Program The program lasts up to 12 months and includes:
General onboarding (IT, internal trainings, different teams)
16-week EIT training class in Katowice, Poland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHzbiGxx_jk
Mentoring and ramp-up on engineering tasks
Post-Program Responsibilities Software and HMI engineering based on our product portfolio and third-party products
Drive and motion sizing and programming
Develop and implement new technologies to increase plant productivity
Work independently on small projects or in teams on larger projects, on-site and off-site
Consult and present technical solutions to customers
Service interventions and commissioning at customer sites
Location / Work Type Based in Root, D4, Switzerland, reporting to the local engineering team lead
Hybrid work model with flexible hours
Projects can be remote or at customer sites
Minimum Qualifications Degree in automation technology, information technology, electrical engineering, or similar
Ability to analyze complex issues and develop solutions
Independent work ethic and teamwork skills
Proficiency in English and German
Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience with Rockwell Automation software and products
Additional languages like French or Italian
