OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION

TASKS
1. Perform regular Inventory valuations, reconciliations and physical count following internal procedures
2. Perform product costing computations and analysis
3. Support various activities in conjunction with the monthly/quarterly financial close (e.g. departmental OPEX accruals/commitments, footnote disclosures)
4. Support annual budgeting as well as monthly forecasting activities, including analysis of actual results vs. plan/prior year, and assisting department heads with related inquiries
5. Period end closing process for all related areas including GL reconciliations
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and consultants by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
7. Participate in ERP Implementation project (GL conversions, Inventory conversions)
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education: Commercial Finance Diploma or similar
(Kaufmännische Grundausbildung mit fachspezifischer Weiterbildung (z.B. Sachbearbeiter Rechnungswesen)
Special Knowledge: Excellent communication English
Expertise in Excel is required
Personality: Distinguished ability to work under pressure even in periods of heavy workload and high capacity
Excellent ability to communicate with colleagues and superiors
Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related experience and at least 2 years of qualified job experience in particular field - manufacturing oriented (inventory, costing)
