Senior Business Analyst - LabVantage LIMS – 6859
We are currently supporting a well-established consulting client in Switzerland, with decades of market presence, in their search for an experienced Business Analyst specialized in LabVantage.
In this role, you will serve as a key interface between business and IT, analysing existing operational processes and translating them into optimized, scalable solutions within the LabVantage environment. Working in an agile setup, you will drive smooth implementation and user adoption, leveraging strong functional expertise and up-to-date knowledge of the latest LabVantage product features.
Main Responsibilities
* You will collaborate with business teams to understand ways of working and translate requirements into detailed process maps.
* Analyse and optimize workflows for DNA/RNA sequencing, Request Management, Advanced Storage & Logistics, and Package Management.
* Ensure communication between technical teams and business teams to ensure clear requirement capture and well-structured solution design.
* Maintain strong awareness of the latest LabVantage product updates and leverage new capabilities to optimize and enhance business processes.
* Work in an agile methodology, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative solution design.
* Prepare functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
* Create and maintain detailed business process flows in Microsoft Visio and Mural.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record of 8–10 years as a Business Analyst in the Chemical or Life Sciences environment.
* Strong functional knowledge of LabVantage LIMS and its latest features.
* Strong practical experience in developing and maintaining business process flows using Microsoft Visio and Mural.
* Familiarity with DNA/RNA sequencing, Request Management, Advanced Storage & Logistics, and Package Management.
