Requirements
We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer, responsible for:
1. Leading, executing, and delegating NC activities, monitoring PI and KPI with a balanced Quality-Delivery-Cost perspective in accordance with QMS processes.
2. Analyzing, organizing, and leading Quality Circles with technical expertise on products and manufacturing processes.
3. Resolving NC issues on-site across all ESS sites using methodologies like 8D, 5-Why, and 6M, involving departments such as Production, Engineering, Development, and Purchasing.
4. Focusing on cost-effective solutions with a risk-benefit approach.
5. Coordinating and handing over NC issues to QA-Supplier teams and related departments.
6. Prioritizing NC actions to meet contractual requirements and ensure delivery commitments.
7. Implementing NC actions with proper documentation and escalating issues when necessary.
8. Following up on NC resolutions, supporting Customer Support, and driving issues to closure.
9. Presenting NC resolutions in closing sessions and supporting development and engineering change projects.
10. Leading continual improvement projects and participating in quality and safety initiatives.
11. Travel up to 20%, mainly within Europe for cross-site activities.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Mechanics, Microtechnics, Electrotechnics, Material Science, Physics, or related field.
* Extensive knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and surface treatments.
* Certified internal auditor is a plus.
* 15+ years of experience in R&D, Quality, or Production Engineering.
* Experience with client/certification/supplier audits is advantageous.
* Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
* Proven skills in complex problem solving and working in highly regulated industries.
* Hands-on approach with strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Team-oriented, autonomous, with a continual improvement mindset.
