* Review technical requirement details to develop proposals that meet customer specifications
* Generate technical drawings and documents, in support of machinery sales (format drawings, process flow diagrams, line layout drawings, etc.)
* Compile budgetary estimates for new machinery projects in early planning phases, to facilitate customer budgeting processes
* Work with the Körber Pharma Fargo operations team to ensure accurate sales project & timeline forecasts are given when preparing proposals
* Attend sales, project review, design review, and factory acceptance testing meetings in support of new machinery projects
* Develop conceptual designs
* Review and comment on customer’s specifications for compliance or deviation to requirements
* Select third party equipment and component suppliers
* Work with third party suppliers to develop equipment specifications
* Communicate openly, honestly, and constructively
* Assist to identify future customer needs to support growth in company sales revenue
* Work with other members of the sales, service and marketing team to achieve common goals
* Work closely with the Körber Pharma Fargo applications and sales team to develop the appropriate solution to meet the customers’ requirements
You possess a strong technical affinity and the ability to communicate complex topics in a way that is tailored to the target audience. You are a communicative and customer-oriented professional with a confident demeanour and excellent team skills. Furthermore, you are distinguished by a high level of initiative, flexibility, and dedication.
* Completed apprenticeship as mechanical design engineer or comparable qualification
* Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering / automation engineering or other higher education (HF)
* Good Knowledge with 3D CAD
* Fluent English and German skills (spoken/written)
* Willingness to travel international (min 30%)
