Position OverviewEF Language Abroad is seeking an exceptional Head of Hub Marketing and Campaigns to lead our centralized marketing operations and drive high-impact campaign execution across global markets. This strategic leadership role combines operational excellence in hub marketing management with creative campaign development, ensuring seamless integration between central strategy and market-specific execution. Reporting directly to the VP of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for orchestrating EF Language Abroad’s marketing hub functions while designing and executing breakthrough campaigns that resonate across diverse markets.
Key Responsibilities
Hub Marketing Leadership
* Lead and optimize the centralized marketing hub serving multiple markets, ensuring efficient resource allocation, consistent brand execution, and strategic alignment across all marketing functions
* Manage cross‑functional collaboration between Creative Studio, Digital Marketing, PR, and regional market intelligence teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions
* Oversee budget planning and allocation for hub‑managed marketing activities, ensuring optimal ROI across channels and markets
* Establish and enforce governance frameworks for marketing decision‑making, approval workflows, and quality standards that maintain central control while enabling market responsiveness
* Build and lead a high‑performing team of marketing specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Develop scalable processes and systems that enable the hub to efficiently serve growing market demands without compromising quality or strategic consistency
Campaign Strategy and Execution
* Design and execute global product campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and conversion across EF Language Abroad’s portfolio of language learning experiences
* Create market‑specific campaign strategies that leverage central insights while adapting to local cultural nuances, competitive dynamics, and consumer behaviors
* Orchestrate integrated multi‑channel campaigns spanning paid search, paid social, display advertising, content marketing, influencer partnerships, events, and PR
* Lead campaign planning cycles, including ideation, briefing, creative development, media planning, execution, optimization, and post‑campaign analysis
* Collaborate with Creative Studio to ensure campaign creative meets brand standards while delivering compelling, culturally‑relevant messaging
* Partner with PR leadership to integrate earned media opportunities and thought leadership into campaign strategies
* Work closely with market intelligence coordinators to incorporate local insights into campaign development and optimisation
Performance and Analytics
* Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for both hub operations and campaign performance, tracking efficiency metrics and marketing ROI
* Conduct rigorous campaign analysis to extract learnings, identify optimisation opportunities, and inform future strategy
* Leverage data and insights to make evidence‑based decisions on budget allocation, channel mix, and campaign tactics
* Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including the Executive Vice President of Marketing and VP Digital Marketing
* Benchmark against industry best practices and competitive landscape to ensure EF Language Abroad maintains marketing excellence
Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary liaison between central hub functions and market‑specific needs, balancing standardization with localisation
* Manage relationships with external partners, including media agencies, creative agencies, technology vendors, and influencer networks
* Coordinate with channel specialists to ensure campaign execution aligns with channel best practices
* Communicate hub strategy and campaign plans effectively across the organization, building alignment and enthusiasm
* Represent marketing hub interests in cross‑functional initiatives, product launches, and strategic planning processes
Required Qualifications
* 15+ years of progressive marketing experience in brand, digital, or integrated marketing roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions
* Proven track record of managing centralized marketing operations or hub models serving multiple markets or business units
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi‑million dollar campaigns across digital and traditional channels
* Experience in international or multi‑market environments, particularly in education, travel, consumer services, or other considered‑purchase categories
* Strong background in digital marketing channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, SEO, and content marketing
* History of building and leading high‑performing marketing teams with diverse skill sets and backgrounds
* Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing or any relevant field

* Cross‑cultural competence: Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to develop marketing that resonates across diverse markets
* Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, develop, and retain top talent while fostering collaboration and accountability
* Technology proficiency: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), CRM systems, and project management software
* Agility: Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, dynamic environments with ability to pivot strategies based on market feedback
Education
* Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
* Professional certifications in digital marketing, project management, or related areas are a plus
