Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information.
Your Role
* You will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's opinion.
* You will support the engagement manager with the planning execution and completion of group and local audits in a variety of non-financial services industries with the focus on IFRS.
* You will draft audit reports and recommendations.
* You will work on a motivated team in a dynamic environment, focused on finding opportunities to add value to clients, teams, and yourself.
* You will support the engagement manager in coordinating a network of international teams on your engagements, either in the US or in Europe.
* You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects.
* You will receive regular feedback from colleagues and your coach and build leadership skills on and off the job.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* A bachelor's, a master's degree or a diploma in economics is required.
* Holding an accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, DEC…) or on the verge of obtaining one is preferred.
* 3-5 years' experience with a public accounting firm and extensive auditing experience working with IFRS is necessary.
* Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
* Fluent in English is mandatory.
* Innovative and inclined towards teamwork and client interaction are desirable traits.
* Excellent analytical and summarizing skills are also important.
