Key responsibilities: Development and programming of PLCs and HMIs Support customers and colleagues on Automation related Topics remotely or on site Participate on Commissioning and Retrofit Projects Software, Hardware and function test in-house or directly on site Preparation and execution of internal trainings Creation of documentation Travel activity of about 5%-15% (Mostly Europe) Your profile: Successfully completed education or further training in a specialized field as automation specialist / engineer 2 years of professional experience as Automation Engineer is an advantage Profound knowledge of PLC development environments, preferably Siemens TIA Portal / Step7 Knowledge in electrical CAD preferably EPLAN P8 Knowledge of standards and guidelines in control engineering Knowledge of control programming in FBD, LAD, SCL / ST. (C and C++ is nice to have) Knowledge in network technology Knowledge of communication interfaces CAN, Modbus, OPC-UA Experience in the development and programming of PLCs and HMIs Knowledge of virtual machines is an advantage Motivated to engage and evolve with Digitalization / cloud solutions in the future.
