The Role
We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Lead Software Architect. In this role you will be responsible for the overall design and technical success of software projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. This includes defining the system architecture, guiding development teams on implementation, and making key decisions on tools, frameworks, and technologies. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring scalability, security, and performance, while collaborating with stakeholders, steering the project’s technical direction, and ensuring overall client satisfaction and project success.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Engineer purpose-built business applications for international clients. You’ll be involved in the whole lifecycle of taking an idea from building to going live with a product.
* Take over the technical management of teams from kick-off to rollout and be in close contact with the project management.
* Using your leadership skills, you will win over, inspire and mobilize your project team and our customers for ideas.
* Coach your team members in Software Engineering and Architecture and in the application of agile principles to contribute to the success of a wide range of projects.
* Further develop our Zühlke network of experts and work on group-wide initiatives for continuous improvement of software development.

What’s Important To Us
* You have a degree (FH, Uni, ETH or similar) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* You have at least five years of experience as a Software Engineer and/or Architect.
* You have practical experience with the design of software systems, following a methodological approach, using concepts like DDD and hexagonal architecture.
* You have practical experience with full-stack development in the .NET ecosystem. You are experienced in modern web development frameworks like React or Angular. You have a DevOps mindset and understand high code quality and automated testing as crucial.
* You bring convincing leadership qualities and a coaching and mentoring mentality as well as a growth mindset and the willingness to learn continuously.
* You are motivated to achieve ambitious goals in a team and to be in direct contact with the customer.
* You are an excellent communicator and are fluent in German and English (at least C1 level).
