Family Manager / Nanny – Focus on Childcare (80–90%) A warm and very lively household with two boys (ages 6 and 8) and a young dog. There is always something going on in the home—playing, lots of energy, laughter, and the occasional sibling disagreement are all part of daily life. Therefore, they are seeking someone who brings calmness and composure and feels comfortable in a dynamic family environment. They are looking for an experienced Family Manager / Nanny to start on August 1st or by mutual agreement, who would enjoy supporting the boys and the family in everyday life. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Caring for and accompanying the two boys in their daily routine, including transportation, leisure activities, and evening routines - Assisting with the organization of family life - Cooking and dishwashing - Occasionally helping with cleaning and maintaining the house, both indoors and outdoors, including laundry (a housekeeper is already employed) - Running small errands and grocery shopping - Caring for or walking the dog as needed Qualifications and Skills Required The ideal candidate will bring: - Experience in childcare - Qualification as a FaBe (Childcare Specialist) or comparable qualification (advantageous) - Genuine enjoyment working with children and animals - Independent and reliable working style - Flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility - Calmness and confidence - Valid driver's license - German or English language skills Working Hours - Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM - Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM - 2-3 Saturdays per month 10am-5pm - Occasional evening and overnight assignments - Willingness to accompany the family on weekends and during holidays/travel is desired - Flexibility for additional assignments is an advantage What the Family Offers - Fair and competitive employment conditions - Mutual flexibility - A warm, appreciative, and supportive environment The family is seeking a proactive, hands-on person with empathy who enjoys being part of a dynamic family life and would welcome receiving applications from qualified candidates.
