Neuchâtel Police (PONE) - Judicial Police (PJ) - Traces and Criminal Analysis Domain (DTA) - Digital Brigade (IN)The Digital Brigade (IN) within the Neuchâtel Police (PONE) is a specialized unit under the Judicial Police (PJ) within the Traces and Criminal Analysis Domain (DTA). Its main missions include conducting scientific and digital investigations both at crime scenes and accidents as well as in digital environments, and analyzing digital traces to provide relevant evidence during judicial investigations. It is also competent in technical surveillance methods within the framework of judicial procedures or search missions.MissionsAs a Scientific Inspector (IN), you collect, analyze, and exploit digital traces on physical media, networks, or the internet in order to contribute to investigations and the resolution of criminal problems. In addition, you advise, guide, and train the police and judicial authorities in the digital field. In parallel, you write reports for police and judicial authorities, while also intervening at crime scenes and assuming on-call duties (irregular hours and weekend work). Within the framework of judicial procedures or during urgent searches, you implement technical surveillance methods. Finally, you contribute to the development of software solutions for internal needs.ProfileYou hold a university degree (bachelor, master) in the field of information systems, embedded systems, digital forensics, or an equivalent qualification. Mastery of IP network technologies, embedded systems, electronics, or software development is an asset. Benefiting from good analytical and synthesis skills, you demonstrate intelligence, know how to integrate new technologies, and maintain a good general knowledge of crime and its evolution. Oral knowledge of a second language, preferably German or English (B1), is part of your skills.Swiss citizen or holder of a C permit, you have a category B driving license and a clean criminal record. You reside in Switzerland and are able to reach the canton of Neuchâtel within 30 minutes during your on-call duties.
