This function plays a critical role in ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations in dealings with authorities, as well as adherence to internal compliance standards. In addition, the team acts as a key partner to internal stakeholders, providing expert support and guidance on topics related to import, export, customs, transportation, and international trade. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as a key driver of export control compliance at the Rotkreuz site, partnering closely with the Local Export Control Officer (LECO) to ensure seamless and compliant operations /li liTake ownership of sanctions list, embargo, and dual-use screenings in SAP GTS, proactively resolving and releasing system blocks to keep business moving /li liEnsure accurate classification of goods in line with export control regulations and manage export license applications end-to-end /li liMaintain precise customs tariff classifications (Tariffs) in accordance with Harmonized System rules, enabling smooth cross-border flows /li liBe the go-to expert for determining and documenting preferential origin and other trade-relevant attributes of goods /li liPartner with internal stakeholders and external partners, providing clear guidance, training, and hands-on support on trade compliance topics /li liAct as a trusted interface to authorities, service providers, and suppliers, managing communication in both German and English /li liContribute actively to cross-functional and interdisciplinary projects, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liSeveral years of professional experience in customs and export control, with solid knowledge of foreign trade laws and regulations, including US export control law /li liBroad expertise and strong know-how in customs regulations /li liStrong operational process understanding combined with strategic thinking skills /li liHigh level of assertiveness, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills /li liIndependent, structured, and precise working style, with strong problem-solving abilities /li liTeam-oriented mindset and enjoyment of collaborative work /li liVery good IT skills (MS Office, SAP considered an advantage) /li liFluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required /li /ul h3General Information /h3 ul liStart date: asap /li liPlanned Duration of Employment: 12 months, temp contract /li liWorkload: 100% /li liRemote/Home Office: max. 2 days /li liWorkplace: Rotkreuz /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
