We are currently looking for a Windows Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Security team in Lugano.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructures (2016/2019/2022) and related core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
* Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online environments.
* Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and updates.
* Automate tasks and repetitive activities using PowerShell scripting.
* Apply system patches, updates, and implement security policies.
* Manage user access, permissions, and group policies across hybrid environments.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to design, deploy and document new solutions or upgrades.
* Support virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and monitor infrastructure performance.
* Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Windows Administrator.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server platforms and Active Directory architecture.
* Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure AD.
* Practical knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
* Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
* Familiarity with monitoring, patch management, and security tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM, Intune).
* Good understanding of network principles and security best practices.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
* Good communication skills in English (Italian knowledge is a plus).
