The role provides consistent advice on policies, processes, and employee matters. It contributes to the implementation of people-related initiatives across the employee lifecycle and supports the coordination of HR activities, with a focus on compliance, employee experience, and alignment with organizational priorities. The position serves as a connection point between People & Culture and the wider business, assisting in day-to-day HR operations and workforce programs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding
2. Act as a point of contact for line managers, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters, including policy interpretation and employee relations
3. Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
4. Support the execution of people initiatives such as engagement programs, talent development, wellbeing, and diversity & inclusion
5. Support managers in the application of performance management processes and assist in the coordination and documentation of performance improvement plans where needed
6. Work closely with HR Centres of Expertise (e.g., Learning & Capabilities, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development) to coordinate and implement key projects and activities
7. Support design and deliver employee trainings to build capabilities, support performance, and drive organizational development.
8. Support employee relations matters by preparing documentation, attending meetings, and ensuring processes are compliant and fair
9. Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to the preparation of people data reports and insights to support business decisions
10. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance the employee experience
11. Assist in the communication and rollout of People & Culture initiatives and change programs
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
12. Completed vocational training with further education in Human Resources or a related field (e.g. Personalfachmann/Personalfachfrau)
13. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a generalist or business partner capacity
14. Foundational understanding of employment laws, social security and HR best practices.
15. Experience working with Workday and SAP platform and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
16. Experience in Production / Warehouse environment is an advantage
17. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
18. Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to learn and develop
19. Confidence in addressing sensititve and critical discussions with honesty, empathy, and professionalism
20. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
21. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
22. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
