Your tasks
* Contribution to one or more of the particle physics experiments at PSI (in particular, PIONEER or another experiment)
* Support and further development of the MIDAS data acquisition system in collaboration with the MIDAS community including TRIUMF, Canada. Support of PSI experiments using MIDAS
* Area coordination in the PiE5 area including support of the experiments in this area
Your profile
* PhD in experimental nuclear or particle physics
* Extended experience in the design, assembly, operation and analysis of experiments
* Good programming skills in C++ and JavaScript
* Good knowledge of English
* Good knowledge of German or willingness to quickly learn the language
* Competence in training and mentoring young scientists
* Enjoy working in a team-oriented interdisciplinary environment
