Responsibilities
* Monitor customs regulations and free trade agreements, analyze the requirements, assess related risks and business impacts, and follow escalation processes.
* Prepare and deliver trainings for large groups on customs operations excellence and the use of free trade agreements.
* Collaborate with project managers to deploy large‑scale projects in customs operations excellence and free trade agreement management.
* Draft or assist in drafting top‑management level memos and other publications such as guidance documents, directives, tools, and enterprise social‑media posts related to trade compliance.
* Acquire, develop, maintain, and deliver trade compliance expertise to support our international group stakeholders.
* Build a network of external stakeholders (industry associations, consultants, authorities) to clarify regulatory changes and build compliance solutions for our businesses.
Qualifications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong visual/aesthetic presentation skills.
* Strong analytical abilities: summarise regulations, evaluate impacts on both high‑level and detailed levels, and translate raw risks into business impacts and solutions.
* Ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics, understand stakeholder perspectives, and influence decision‑making at senior levels.
* Independent, self‑directed work style combined with a collaborative, consultative approach.
* At least 2‑3 years of experience providing consultation, training, research, and content writing in an international trade compliance environment.
* Master’s degree in law, economics, or a related field (preferably from an EU, Swiss, or US university).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in French (fluent and non‑negotiable) and English.
* Experience with SAP and SAP GTS is desirable.
* Experience with corporate training programmes (e.g., e‑learning, classroom instruction) is an advantage.
