Penitentiary Service (SPNE) - Office for the Enforcement of Sanctions and Probation (OESP)
The OESP carries out the tasks assigned by the penal code to the enforcement authority and the probation authority. It prepares and makes administrative decisions relating to the application of criminal sanctions imposed on adult persons. It ensures the monitoring and control of the application of decisions from a risk management, prevention of reoffending, and social integration perspective.

Your tasks
Within the scope of your role, you investigate and draft decision proposals in the field of the enforcement of sentences and measures, notably by preparing determinations for the attention of appeal authorities as well as positions during cantonal, intercantonal, and federal consultations.
In parallel, you provide legal oversight of decisions taken by the service, its office, and the entities dependent on it.
Furthermore, you actively participate in drafting bills, ordinances, directives, legal opinions, and practical guides. Legal monitoring and training of the office’s collaborators are an integral part of your daily work.
Finally, you ensure the updating and legal compliance of the models used.

Your profile
Holder of a master’s degree in law, you have several years of experience in the criminal or administrative field.
You are recognised for your drafting skills and also possess excellent analytical and synthesis abilities.
Able to operate in a challenging environment, you demonstrate adaptability.
Knowledge of foreign languages, particularly German, is an asset.
Requirements:
residence in Switzerland.
category B driving licence.
clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract.
