Job Description
The IT Support Engineer will provide first and second-level support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of workstations, mobility devices, and related infrastructure. The role involves handling technical incidents, performing installations, and assisting with system upgrades and relocations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for workstations, laptops, and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad).
* Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents efficiently and provide timely resolutions.
* Support peripheral and inventory units such as monitors, local printers, scanners, and docking stations.
* Assist in infrastructure‑related tasks, including installation, replacement, relocation, and removal of equipment.
* Manage receipt of materials and spare parts, maintain inventory, and ensure proper installation and customer feedback.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong communication with end users.
* Monitor and report on system performance, including dashboards and KPIs.
* Contribute to improving procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.
Technical and Business Skills
* Strong understanding of workplace environments and end‑user services, including:
* Windows OS, Microsoft Office 2016/365, and collaboration tools (MS Teams).
* Mobile and mail services, and inventory management.
* Basic knowledge of Apple environments (macOS, iPhone/iPad).
* Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident and request management through ticketing tools.
* Experience supporting large enterprise IT environments.
Essential Experience & Soft Skills
* Minimum 3 years of hands‑on IT support and customer service experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset.
* Analytical thinker with good listening and problem‑solving skills.
* Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach.
* Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement.
* Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills suited for a professional setting.
