TECHNICAL ASSISTANT IN STERILIZATION: Permanent contract (100%)Working hours: Shift work, range between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.Location: Jules Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital in LausanneMain missions- Receive, sort, and check medical devices from clients.- Visually verify the integrity of medical devices before pretreatment: cleaning, disinfection according to current procedures (trays, containers).- Load medical devices into washer-disinfectors.- Validate washing cycles and package medical devices (pouches, tubing, wrapping sheets) by applying hygiene and asepsis standards.- Ensure the traceability of medical devices.- Load medical devices into sterilizers and validate cycles in accordance with procedures in force.- Pack medical devices and check delivery notes.- Participate in first-level maintenance of equipment and report any malfunctions.Required skills- Knowledge of disinfection, cleaning procedures, and good hygiene and infection prevention practices.- Rigor, good organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and strict adherence to protocols.- Ability to work in a team in a demanding environment.- Ease with digital traceability tools.- Good command of spoken and written French.- Meticulousness and attention to detail.Desired profile- STE1 agent diploma (level 1).- STE2 agent diploma (level 2).- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a medical device technologist.- Good physical condition and visual acuity.- Previous experience in a hospital environment and/or with the Sterigest traceability software is an asset. jid4841782aen jit0623aen jpiy26aen
