Job responsibilities:
* Prepare and process import/export documentation, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
* Coordinate shipment schedules and logistics to ensure on-time delivery to international customers.
* Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents to arrange shipments and resolve any shipping issues.
* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
* Monitor and track shipments to provide timely updates to internal teams and customers.
* Handle inquiries and requests related to export orders and shipments.
* Maintain accurate records of export transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline export processes and enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer queries and provide excellent service.
Your profile:
* Previous experience in import/export or similar role in an international trading environment.
* Solid knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.
* Proficiency in using export software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for documentation and tracking.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Fluency in German (must) and fluency in English
* Certification in export management or logistics (desired but not mandatory).
