Job Description
Located at our facility at Solvias Kaiseraugst, the Scientific Proposal Writer will be responsible for the generation of customer-facing proposals and quotes for all Solvias sites and business units. In addition, he/she will support standardization of proposals and quotations.
Responsibilities
* Scoping (bio)pharmaceutical projects (RFQ, RFPs) regarding the analytical needs in each phase of the drug development process of our customers.
* Engage directly with customers to uncover their unique needs and transform their goals and challenges into tailored, strategic proposals and RFPs with a strong focus for key accounts.
* Qualify incoming opportunities and generate technical proposals and quotations. Evaluate and prepare the technical aspects of the bids.
* Improve the speed and consistency of proposal generation through core templates and standardized approaches.
Qualifications
* Demonstrates strong customer focus with proven experience in key account management, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business growth.
* Robust scientific background coupled with a genuine curiosity to thoroughly understand the work and capabilities of Solvias.
* Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitating decision-making and gathering input to drive operational support for project opportunities.
* PhD/BSc/Masters in Life Sciences with 5+ years relevant experience in a Life Science organization, or similar role (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
* Prior direct or indirect experience in the generation of scientific commercial technical proposals.
* Hands on experience using a CRM system and ERP system.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
