We never compromise on quality and our only natural ingredients, ensuring trust with our consumers as well as partners through our commitment to excellence.Your Mission:You lead and develop Planted’s mission-driven Quality team, covering all aspects of food quality and regulatory complianceYou ensure consistent product quality and safety at our sites in Kemptthal and Memmingen, as well as at suppliers and co-manufacturers, in line with Planted standards, IFS, and legal requirementsYou strengthen the quality culture across the organizationYou expand and optimize the quality management system to meet the needs of our growing product portfolio, technologies, markets, and customer baseYou ensure that all quality standards, control systems, and certifications support current and future market and customer requirementsYou implement scalable processes and ways of working within the Quality team and across functions like Operations, R&D, Commercial, customers, and suppliersYou take ownership of quality across all production sites, including managing customer, authority, and certification audits, as well as audits at external partnersYou lead the organization through quality issues or crises, including heading the crisis teamYou actively participate in or oversee key Quality working groups such as HACCP, Food Defense, and Food FraudYou:Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in food sciences or a related fieldBring 5+ years of experience in quality roles within food production, including proven leadership experiencePossess in-depth expertise in quality assurance, management, and control—covering crisis management and communicationAre a team player, responsibility taker & flexible with a “hands-on” approachDecide quickly and effectively using a risk-based approach, communicating clearly even under pressureThink entrepreneurially and are eager to help shape and scale an ambitious companyAre willing to travel regularly between Kemptthal and MemmingenCommunicate fluently in both German and EnglishBring experience with quality in animal or plant-based meat products—an advantage
