We are seeking a versatile Construction Manager (80-100%) based in Bern or Interlaken, to succeed a retiring colleague.
Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing medium to large new build and renovation projects in Bern Oberland and Mittelland. This will involve handling tenders and contractual matters, overseeing schedule and budget management, organizing and supervising construction execution, and contributing to internal forums for method and process development.
Responsibilities
* Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other specialists to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
Requirements
* A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
* Proven experience in construction management, preferably with a background in Swiss building regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Able to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
