We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Specialist to join our Global Digital Planning & Strategy team. In this high-impact role, you will be instrumental in elevating our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) E-commerce planning and forecasting capabilities, with a mandate to drive transformation toward an AI-infused and empowered function. You will be responsible for the financial modeling around our Ecom budget and forecasting rounds, the development of sophisticated analyses, and the execution of strategic initiatives. This is a crucial opportunity to work closely with our Digital Commercial team and Chief Digital Officer to drive the Ecom business plan and steer On's Ecom business through data-driven decisions. Digital at On represents the direct-to-consumer distribution channel, covering sales via our ecommerce platform, marketplaces and Mobile App. This role requires 2-4 years of relevant professional experience and is based from our office in Zurich.

Your Mission

Lead and innovate On’s Ecom business plan by owning and developing the financial Ecom budget and predictive forecasting models, specifically leveraging time series and advanced analytical techniques

Drive the elevation of planning processes into an AI-infused function by identifying and implementing workflow automation and cutting-edge data science solutions

Generate actionable, executive-level insights for the Digital leadership team by closely monitoring business performance against plan and assessing risks and opportunities

Oversee weekly and monthly reporting of Ecom performance for Digital Management and On’s Finance team, ensuring clarity and precision for senior stakeholders

Integrate media plans into sales planning models, monitoring performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and guiding data-driven trade-offs in resource allocation to maximize commercial impact

Develop automated, AI-powered reporting solutions to track and analyze the financial performance of Digital channels, enabling faster insights, improved forecasting accuracy, and scalable decision-making

Your Story

You have 2-4 years of professional experience in a highly analytical, strategic, or technology-focused role, ideally in management consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, data science/analytics or data engineering - prior experience in E-commerce or Consumer Goods DTC is a strong plus.

You have proven, hands‑on expertise in financial modeling and business planning with a strong focus on time series and predictive analytics

You have essential experience in workflow automation and a passion for leveraging AI/machine learning to drive business outcomes and elevate processes

You have a strong academic background in Data Science, Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

You have strong technical data skills (e.g., experience in using SQL, Python, or R) and the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable insights

You have excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and building consensus on proposed solutions across diverse teams

You are highly autonomous, solution‑oriented, and determined to deliver assigned targets in a dynamic and fast‑changing setup

You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English

Meet The Team
The Digital (DTC‑Ecommerce) Team brings together a large and diverse group of planners, engineers, designers, data scientists, and digital marketing specialists. The team is responsible for distributing On’s products directly to our final customer, creating winning digital solutions and tailoring campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel. The Planning & Strategy team is a vital pillar within the Digital division, driving the strategic long‑term vision and managing all business planning and forecasting for E‑commerce sales. Additionally, we partner closely with regional and digital commercial leadership to monitor execution, evaluate performance, and identify key opportunities for growth.
