Within the Common Services Management, the Human Resources Management contributes to the implementation of the HUG's policies. It bases its policy notably on the consideration of the individual, the work-life balance, health and safety at work, professional development, and the promotion of mobility. The HUG crèches are enterprise crèches reserved for the children of HUG staff and the institution, from the end of maternity leave until entry into primary school. The HUG crèches consist of two sites with gardens, one located at the Belle-Idée estate in Chêne-Bourg and the other located near the cantonal hospital. A childcare center designed primarily for children of staff members and visitors to the HUG complements the crèche system.As the Director of the crèches - 80% to 100%, in collaboration with the Deputy Director of HR, you will autonomously ensure the management and administration of the crèches of the Universitary Hospitals of Geneva (Magnolias and Kangaroos sites, and childcare center). You will oversee two deputies and a secretary whom you will guide and support in their functions. You will ensure the monitoring and evolution of institutional procedures and the pedagogical project of the service across the three establishments, guaranteeing the respect for the physical, mental, and social well-being of the children and their families. With the support of the deputies and your managerial posture, you will mobilize the teams, encourage skill development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement among the approximately 50 staff members of the crèches.You also recognize yourself in the values of the institution and embody them in your approach with the teams, partners, and parents, who are also staff members. With a concern for efficiency, you ensure optimal management and logistics while observing regulatory frameworks and the budget allocated by the HUG, and you perform regular reporting on activities. You also collaborate with internal and external partners, such as the youth health service, cantonal authorities, etc. You will lead regulatory projects and mobilize your teams to guarantee adherence, compliance, and optimal implementation.As an agile and innovative person, your activities will also lead you to participate in the reflection on expanding childcare places for staff and developing new projects, particularly in relation to work conditions. You hold a diploma in early childhood (ES) awarded by ESEDE or a diploma considered equivalent by SASAJ. You have complemented your training with a university degree in the field of child psychology, public/community health, or social work or a recognized equivalent. You have a minimum of three years of professional experience as a director or, alternatively, a minimum of five years of experience as an assistant or deputy director in a childcare structure or equivalent experience in another field. Mastery of the Geneva regulatory framework concerning early childhood (supervision rates, operational norms, SASAJ standards) is essential for this position.Your proven pedagogical abilities and your experience in project management in relation to the scope of practice have allowed you to develop strong management skills.
