Job Description
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Implement and monitor compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
Support audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the Accounting & Finance department.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounting Manager should have:
A Master in Finance & Accounting
Fluency in English and French.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in the Energy/Manufacturing sector is preferred.
