We are seeking a highly motivated Hygiene & Contamination Control Specialist to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of hygiene standards at our Visp site. In this role, you will act as a key interface between cross-functional teams and drive hygiene-related initiatives in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the effective implementation and ongoing improvement of site-wide hygiene standards
* Act as the central interface between departments involved in contamination control, including Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Monitoring, Engineering, and EHS
* Plan, lead, and execute hygiene-related projects, including material transfer, gowning procedures, cleaning, disinfection, and cleanroom behavior
* Coordinate and perform Cleanroom Performance Qualifications (PQs) in compliance with GMP and internal requirements
* Prepare, review, and maintain hygiene-related documentation in accordance with GMP standards
* Investigate deviations related to hygiene and environmental monitoring, perform root cause analyses, and define and track CAPAs
* Initiate and manage change requests (CRs) related to hygiene processes
* Lead deviation investigations and ensure timely closure in line with quality system requirements
* Identify opportunities to harmonize and standardize hygiene processes across production areas and implement improvements
* Represent hygiene topics during internal and external audits, including inspections by regulatory authorities and customers
* Develop and deliver targeted training programs to enhance hygiene awareness and ensure consistent standards across the site
Your Profile
* Degree or vocational training in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related discipline
* Professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally in contamination control, cleanroom hygiene, or quality management
* Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and experience with GMP documentation (SOPs, CAPAs, deviations, change controls)
* Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus
* Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
