The Role
The IT Asset Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle of hardware assets, including tracking inventory, locating missing assets, optimizing costs, and supporting IT policies and governance.
Responsibilities
Tracks, maintains, and reports accurate records of assets throughout their lifecycle to support decision‑making and compliance
Collaborates with management, vendors, and legal teams to support asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal; triages tickets to appropriate support groups, including proper escalation of major incidents
Reports and communicates asset performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership or clients
Manages accuracy of stock rooms and updates management on inventory requirements
Provides frontline technical support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues for end users to keep workstations operational
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive experience in IT service management
High proficiency in technology and data‑analytics tools used for asset tracking, reporting, and performance optimization
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills for explaining strategies, risks, and results to clients and leadership
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices; ITIL certification (v3 or v4) is highly desirable
Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that integrate automation and emerging technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Experience with ticketing management systems (ServiceNow preferred)
Experience with Active Directory or an Identity Management System (Omada)

Salary
The salary range for this position is $60,800 – $70,000. The final pay rate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay will meet local requirements, including local minimum wage rate.
