The Position:
We are seeking a Health & Physical Education teacher for our secondary school. The ideal candidate will be flexible and excited to cooperate with a secondary department (grades 6 – 12) of dynamic, professional Physical Education teachers to plan, deliver, and assess student-centered, concept-driven curriculum, promoting skills development, health, and personal development in a diverse international school setting.
What we are looking for:
* At least 3 years experience, ideally at an international school
* Teaching qualifications, including specialism
* Experience teaching Health curriculum is desirable
* Understanding of, and experience with an inquiry-based pedagogical approach
* Commitment to ongoing professional growth, of yourself and colleagues
* Ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs
* Ability to engage & inspire students to develop a lifelong commitment to physical activity
* A commitment to relationship building with students and colleagues
* A commitment to teamwork and collaboration
* A commitment to involvement in coaching competitive school teams and in our advisory program
