Your Role
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to join our core team. In this pivotal role, you’ll contribute to the development and optimization of our robotic wheelchair solution, working at the intersection of advanced robotics and real-world applications.
What You’ll Do
* Develop, implement, and optimize software using ROS (Robot Operating System).
* Design and improve Planning and Obstacle avoidance algorithms.
* Process and integrate data from LiDAR sensors and other hardware.
* Design and improve algorithms for object tracking.
* Collaborate closely with team members to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
* Manage projects independently, taking initiative and ensuring timely execution.
* Travel to different cities and countries for deployments and collaborations.
Technical Skills:
* Expertise in ROS and robotic navigation techniques.
* Proficiency in Obstacle avoidance algorithms and LiDAR data processing.
* Familiarity with various localization methods and sensor fusion techniques.
* Knowledge of app design for human-robot interaction is a plus.
Languages:
* Knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
Personal Attributes:
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
* Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
* A team player with excellent communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally for work.
