AsanOrganic Chemist /Electrochemistin our Development Team,you will play a pivotal role in exploringnew strategies for the membrane-less redox flow battery technology. Your role at UP will be at the interface of electrochemistry, organic chemistry and masstransport processes.

What you will do:
* Studytransport processes and electrochemical reactions in electrolyte usingfundamental and applied approaches.
* Design, optimize, and characterize biphasic supporting electrolyte formulations.
* Innovateposolyte and negolyte formulations. Synthesize and modify redox active species if needed.
* Manage R&D projects in collaboration with our fluidmechanics team.
* Designand execute experiments: cyclic voltammetry, voltage stability window, corrosion, electrochemical behavior on a cell level.
* Identifyand troubleshoot performance-degrading mechanisms.
* Ensureprocesses reproducibility and maintain equipment.
* RepresentUP at international conferences and relevant events.
What you will bring:
* PhDdegree in organic chemistry/chemistry/electrochemistry (or physics).
* Provenrecord of innovation related to energy conversion/storage devices.
* Experiencein experimentalwork in one or more of the following fields: organic chemistry, and electrochemistry - is a must; materialscience, and physical chemistry - is optional.
* Proficiency in using potentiostat (preferable Biologic).
* Practicalknowledge of safety practices.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
