Ph3Overview /h3 pThis bFunctional Safety Engineer /b role offers the opportunity to work at the core of safety-critical ASIC development, ensuring functional safety is built into complex semiconductor products from concept through to production. You’ll work closely with design, verification and system teams, influencing architecture decisions and supporting certification activities in a highly technical environment. /p pOur client is an established semiconductor design house specialising in mixed-signal ASICs used across industrial, automotive and high-reliability applications. They are looking for someone who can take ownership of safety activities and work confidently across both engineering teams and external stakeholders. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefining and managing safety concepts and technical safety requirements /li liPerforming safety analyses (FMEDA, FMEA, DFA) and supporting verification reviews /li liSupporting implementation of safety mechanisms (diagnostics, redundancy, fault detection) /li liPreparing safety documentation including Safety Manuals /li liActing as the interface with customers and certification bodies /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 ul liExperience in ASIC development within safety-critical environments /li liStrong knowledge of ISO 26262 and/or IEC 61508 /li liHands-on experience with FMEDA and hardware safety analysis /li liAbility to work across architecture, design and verification teams /li liStrong documentation and communication skills /li /ul pYou’ll join a technically strong organisation with a long-standing track record in ASIC development, offering the chance to work on complex, safety-critical products with real-world impact.
