How you’ll make an impact
* Lead and manage R&D projects, coordinating multi‑location and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful completion of tasks and milestones.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans defining scope, budget, schedule, and risk management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
* Organize and monitor project activities, optimizing resource utilization and managing project costs to achieve established milestones effectively.
* Oversee project financials, identifying and managing risks while recognizing opportunities to enhance overall project outcomes.
* Validate business cases for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing change throughout the project lifecycle for optimal results.
* Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, resolving project‑related issues and fostering strong relationships for effective communication and collaboration.
* Promote adherence to Hitachi Energy’s health, safety and environmental policies, fostering a culture of safety and compliance during project execution.
* Ensure compliance with project management processes and tools, continuously identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices that align with Hitachi Energy’s methodologies.
Your background
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the energy sector or a similar industrial environment.
* Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and best practices to effectively manage complex projects and drive successful outcomes.
* Solid understanding of engineering principles and technologies relevant to the energy sector, enabling effective communication with technical teams.
* Ability to analyze project data, identify trends and develop data‑driven solutions to overcome challenges and optimize performance.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
