The Opportunity
A specialised private equity investment firm based in Zurich is seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity team, focusing on secondary transactions and liquidity solutions.
The firm is an established investor in the European private equity market, providing bespoke investment solutions that give institutional clients access to high-quality private equity managers through both primary commitments and secondary transactions.
The platform focuses on complex and often smaller secondary opportunities, where differentiated sourcing and deep manager relationships can generate attractive risk-adjusted returns.
The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals on the evaluation, structuring and execution of secondary transactions, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of private equity investing in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
* Evaluate private equity secondary investment opportunities, including LP portfolio acquisitions and liquidity solutions
* Conduct fund-level and asset-level due diligence on underlying private equity portfolios
* Build and maintain financial models including cash flow projections, return analyses and scenario modelling
* Analyse fund documentation, capital account statements and underlying portfolio company performance
* Prepare investment committee materials and transaction memoranda
* Support transaction execution, including coordination with GPs, advisors and legal counsel
* Assist with portfolio monitoring and valuation analysis
Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking high-calibre candidates with:
* 4–6 years of experience in:
* Private Equity Secondaries
* Secondaries Transaction Advisory
* Private Markets Advisory
* Strong academic record from a leading university
* Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
* Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
* Ability to work independently in a lean team while contributing to collaborative deal execution
