Your tasks
Planning, execution and evaluation of experiments on a catalytic high-pressure test rig for the hydrothermal gasification of biomass
Developing a method for the regeneration of spent catalysts
Optimization of an existing catalyst using wet chemical methods
Documentation of the results in technical reports and scientific journals
Characterization of the catalysts using modern methods
Close collaboration with an industrial partner and an international and diverse team of PhD students, postdocs, senior scientists, engineers, technicians
Your profile
Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering or materials science with a focus on heterogeneous catalysis
Practical experience with continuous catalytic test systems and gas analysis
Doctorate in a field of heterogeneous catalysis desirable
Very good written and spoken English skills
High motivation to work on bioenergy projects and research novel technologies
