About the Job
The Key Account Manager Nephrology is a strategic role that drives commercial activities in Switzerland, aligning with regional initiatives and the Global Commercial Plan. This position requires proactive management of stakeholders and creating value for patients through scientific engagement, commercial projects, and communications.
As a Key Account Manager, you will independently initiate planned commercial activities, including scientific presentations, discussions of clinical data and programs. You will identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical scientific experts. Your goal is to deliver high-quality scientific communication externally and internally in line with defined plans. You will also provide field feedback as appropriate through dynamic stakeholder engagement and support the local organization in the development of tactics and provide input to regional plans.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Identifying, developing, and maintaining collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts, and other medical scientific stakeholders for one of our products (100% field-based).
* Delivering high-quality scientific communications in line with defined communication plans.
* SUPPORTING/Organization of local events with the appropriate key stakeholders.
* Supporting the medical team on the local level if necessary.
* Attending relevant local, regional, and global congresses and symposia to represent us and interact with appropriate stakeholders and customers.
* Representing the scientific interests in internal and external forums and interacting with KOLs at hospitals, patient associations, and other non-governmental organizations within the therapeutic area.
* Maintaining and developing strong relationships with scientific societies and central decision-makers at relevant local health authorities.
* Providing advice to the organization and management on medical matters and their legal implications.
* Safeguarding that the medical and scientific knowledge for the therapeutic area remains at the forefront of contemporary thinking; remaining updated on therapeutic trends related to new and existing products.
* Ensuring a high standard of professionalism to develop and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with KOLs.
