Requirements
We’re currently searching for a Field Service Technician, with main functions including:
Customer Service:
1. Ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide
2. Providing the field activities when requested: supervision of installation, testing, commissioning and training
3. Executing emergency site interventions
4. Conducting audits and maintenance jobs
5. Elaboration of technical reports
Support to Sales and Contract execution:
1. Supporting Sales Engineer on substation surveys and permissions to site access
2. Making repairing quotations
3. Identifying new business opportunities: sale of spare parts, repairs, on-site services, modernizations, retrofits, training, and maintenance contracts
Logistics and stock:
1. Supporting the management of stock of spare parts and tools
2. Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
Minimum Requirements:
1. Technical degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Technician (or Engineering) or related
2. Electrical hazards and safety training; Maintenance; Protections and control of electrical equipment
3. Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment. Ideally with experience in maintenance and on DC traction substations
4. Fluency in English and French. Any other languages are a plus
5. Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
