Ph3Job Summary /h3 pReporting to the portfolio VP, Business Unit Manager, the Vice President, Business Manager (VP/BM) of CTS will have overall profit and loss responsibility for a business with annual revenue of approximately CHF 60 million ($75 M USD). In addition to being responsible for the overall profit and loss of the CTS business, the VP/BM will provide tactical (operational) and strategic guidance and be responsible for developing and implementing the business’s strategic plan with an emphasis on AMETEK’s four‑pronged growth strategy promoting operational excellence, strategic acquisitions, global market expansion, and new product development. This is a terrific opportunity for a proven leader to take the business to the next level, delivering high growth rates in a strategic market for the AMETEK Power Systems Instruments (PSI) Division. The VP/BM will be fully responsible and accountable for meeting strategic and annual commitments and will oversee 230+ employees in a global business with manufacturing sites in Switzerland, Germany, and Serbia and a global sales footprint. The VP/BM will be tasked with driving sales, profit, and operating objectives to further position it as a global leader. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage overall profit loss (PL) of the CTS business /li liDrive organic revenue growth of 8 - 10% per annum and scale profitability accordingly. /li liReduce working capital via proactive management of inventory, contractual terms, and cash collection. /li liImprove profitability via Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives, including material cost reductions, value engineering (VE), value analysis (VA), and sustainability projects. /li liOversee business operations, ensuring delivered products achieve defined KPIs, including cost, schedule, and technical / quality objectives. /li liAccurately forecast and predict business results and meet operating plan commitments to the greater organization. /li liEnsure the business finances are properly managed and reported in a timely, accurate manner. /li liEstablish and implement performance measures that incorporate a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement to meet the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. /li liAttract, retain, and develop a high performing team, leveraging proactive succession planning to ensure near‑term and long‑term business success. /li liDefine and execute a new product development (NPD) / new product introduction (NPI) plan to drive organic growth. /li liDevelop and drive the execution of a strategic plan to achieve long‑range (5yr) growth targets. /li liDevelop and execute an annual operating plan (budget). /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liBS in Engineering or adjacent field of study. /li liMinimum of 5 years of experience leading a PL with annual revenue of CHF 20 million ($25 M USD) or greater per year. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liMBA preferred. /li liMulti‑site, global business experience highly desired. /li liExperience in RF test measurement, EMI/EMC, or similar technology is a plus. /li liCross‑functional business leadership experience spanning engineering, production / manufacturing, marketing, commercial sales, business development, contracts, finance, and supply chain is highly desired. /li liExperience working in (or leading) an electronics manufacturing business is a plus. /li liStrong financial acumen and related experience is highly desired. /li liExperience working for a publicly traded company with regulated financial reporting requirements is highly desired. /li liDemonstrated ability to drive positive change such as improving organizational effectiveness, profitability, overhead costs, strategic sourcing, rooftop consolidation, and/or adapting the business model in response to changing market conditions is preferred. /li liDemonstrated ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships in an industry where competition is strong, and results are achieved through operational and quality excellence. /li /ul h3Personality And Character /h3 ul liIntelligent with the ability to handle oneself in difficult situations. /li liEntrepreneurial mindset. /li liHave an outgoing and engaging personality; be comfortable relating to customers, senior executives, and employees at all levels of the organization. /li liHave strong strategic thinking skills and possess strong leadership qualities. /li liHave executive presence including excellent communication skills. /li liThe confidence to make difficult decisions. /li liIndustry experience combined with leadership skills that will earn the respect of senior management, peers, and subordinates. /li liViewed by all as a team player and be considered “fair” while having the courage of their convictions to make necessary decisions. /li liComfortable empowering employees while recognizing and nurturing talent. /li liMust demonstrate high integrity and exemplify appropriate ethical standards in all business and personnel transactions. /li /ul h3Travel /h3 p35% - 50% (mostly within Europe with occasional trips to the United States Asia). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
