Join our Finance team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As a Jr. Accountant Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable cycle and related tasks: generate invoices, send invoices to the customer, resolve customer queries, support month end closes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
* Full cycle invoicing – generating, booking, sending and reconciling
* Manage the timely, accurate monthly closing for accounts receivable tasks and records
* Assemble financial information for auditing
* Assist in automating existing Finance processes
* Analyze, post activity and assist in reconciliation for intercompany accounts through active coordination with the sister sites
* Investigate and resolve customer queries
* Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary as well monitor AR-related KPIs
* Participate in projects and develop process/system improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
* Commercial Education Background (KV)
* 1-3 years accounts receivable/general accounting experience in an international environment
* Prior experience within Accounting / Finance or related fields
