Principal account cloud engineer - business transformation expert

You'll need a talent for translating customer needs into cloud solutions – and the leadership to bring those solutions to life.

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you'll work with sales to showcase the value of our cloud offerings. Empower businesses on their journey to cloud, and create tailored transformations for our customers. This role requires a deep understanding of our customers' systems, priorities, and business needs to find innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

* Lead technical activity on customer accounts, from project concept to adoption.
* Become a trusted advisor on all things cloud engineering.
* Provide technical expertise on cloud infrastructure, platforms, and architecture.
* Ensure our technology drives customer outcomes and sustainable growth.
* Collaborate with sales to define account strategies and win new workloads.
* Coordinate solution creation, architecture design, and workshops.
* Demonstrate the value of our cloud products, architectures, and new technologies.

Key Qualifications:

1. Broad technical experience of Cloud Infrastructure and Platform solutions along with a strong understanding of cloud architecture. Knowledge of our platform services and cloud infrastructure would be a strong advantage.
2. Demonstrates leadership capability including the ability to delegate activities and involve the right teams and skill sets.
3. Clearly able to articulate our cloud offerings in the market and with the ability to discuss architectures.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills for a group with high degree of comfort speaking across all levels of management (e.g., IT management, Architects, administrators, and executives).
5. Experience in understanding complex customer ecosystems with the ability to translate customer needs into workable solutions.
6. Familiar with 3rd party and our Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ECAL).
7. High level of commercial business understanding.
8. Intelligence to identify key market trends and insights and leverage them in driving decision making and execution within customer.
9. Experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders.
10. Ability to build relationships to grow business. Act as a partner to our customers, not just a vendor.
11. A strong plus: Solid experience in Data Management (relational and non-relational) and Data Architectures as well as our Databases and Exadata. Additionally, knowledge in any of the following areas: Infrastructure (Cloud Services), Big Data, Data Architecture, Hybrid Cloud Architectures, Data-Driven Enterprise, Cloud Native.
12. Language skills: English.
