Postdoctoral Fellow to work on mesoscopic magnetic systems

For the Mesoscopic Systems Group at PSI, we are looking for a postdoctoral fellow.
Your tasks
* Conduct outstanding research in the field of mesoscopic magnetic systems
* Fabricate and optimize nanostructures and devices with nanofabrication methods
* Study the behaviour with a lab‑based set‑up and large‑scale facilities
* Demonstrate possible applications
* Perform simulations to supplement the experimental data
* Publish the results of the scientific and technical achievements in high‑impact journals
Your profile
* Excellent qualifications with a PhD degree in physics, material science, or a related field and enjoy practical work
* Knowledge of magnetism, nanofabrication methods and large‑scale facility characterisation is beneficial
* As an enthusiastic researcher you like teamwork and have a flexible approach to working between different laboratories, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
