For its Environment Service, the Municipality of Mont-sur-Lausanne is advertising a position for:

Project Manager – Landscape Architect at 80%

Purpose of the role:

You design, manage and oversee landscaping projects throughout the municipal territory, from planning to completion. You contribute to greening strategies, biodiversity and the quality of the living environment.

Main tasks:

- Design, develop and coordinate landscaping projects with high ecological value (parks, green spaces, renaturation, public spaces).
- Ensure complete project management according to SIA phases: studies, tenders, site supervision and acceptance.
- Prepare specifications, analyse bids and ensure compliance with technical, environmental and budgetary requirements.
- Supervise construction sites, notably urban tree planting, green/biosolar roofs and complex developments.
- Contribute to the management of tree heritage, maintenance of sports surfaces and control of invasive species.
- Participate in the implementation of municipal strategies (biodiversity, sustainability, climate plan).
- Work closely with other departments on cross-cutting projects.
- Draft various technical documents.
- Manage project-related budgets.

Your profile:

- Degree in landscape architecture or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in managing landscaping projects (SIA, tenders, site supervision).
- Excellent expertise in working in urban environments and landscaping implementation techniques.
- Proficiency in professional tools (AutoCAD, ArcGIS…) and strong writing and analytical skills.
- Very good knowledge of public procurement.
- Ease in coordinating contractors and leading groups.
- Strong interest in nature, biodiversity and climate issues.
- Category B driving licence.

Desired assets:

- Experience within a public administration.
- Project management certification.
- Knowledge of environmental legal frameworks.
