What You Will Do
Controls System Design & Development
1. Design and implement control strategies for chiller plants, CDUs, and direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems
2. Develop sequences of operation for cooling infrastructures supporting 150+ kW per rack
3. Build intelligent control logic tooptimizePUE and maintain ASHRAEcompliant temperature & humiditycompliant temperature & humidity
4. Integrate andoptimizecontrols across aircooled, liquidcooled, and hybrid systemscooled,liquidcooled, and hybrid systems
Technical Leadership
5. Mentor junior engineers and field technicians, and collaborate closely with mechanical, applications, and product development teams
6. Work directly with customers to translate requirements into robust control solutions
7. Contribute to the standardization of control platforms and reusable code libraries
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
8. Evaluate emerging technologies including AI/ML optimization, digital twins, and predictive controls
9. Support development of fault detection & diagnostics (FDD)
10. Document best practices and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
What You Bring
11. Degree in Electrical / Controls Engineering (or related discipline)
12. Strong background in HVAC / control systems
13. Understanding of chiller plant controls, sequencing, and optimization
14. Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, OPCUA
15. Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and P&IDs
16. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred
17. Data center experience
18. Exposure to liquid cooling systems (facility water loops, CDUs, cold plates)
19. Experience with MATLAB Simulink, or similar modeling tools
