Responsibilities
Responsible for sales demand planning per SKU and customer over a rolling 24-month horizon.
Monitor forecast and customer service parameters; propose continuous improvements to prevent out-of-stock and over-stock situations.
Manage demand planning for new, delisted, or non-performing products.
Manage products and customer demand planning master data.
Identify abnormal demand patterns within the relevant portfolio.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Factories, Procurement) and external partners (suppliers, large distribution chains) from an S&OP demand planning perspective.
Support the monthly S&OP process related to demand planning.
Ensure the availability of intercompany finished goods, including 'Make to Stock' and 'Make to Order' products, in the APO Planning Book.
Manage short-term supply/demand disruptions by collaborating with sales, logistics providers, manufacturing, and other partners to maintain high service levels.
Maintain and optimize intercompany SKU inventory levels, including safety stocks, to minimize write-offs.
Maintain excellent communication with suppliers and internal/external parties, providing timely supply availability information.
Maintain planning master data in APO and ECC for the relevant portfolio.
Support system upgrades/transitions to SAP S/4HANA for supply planning, including UAT.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain Management; APICS certification is a plus.
Minimum 4 years of experience in demand/supply planning within an FMCG environment.
Good knowledge of supply planning processes, inventory management, and their impact on the supply chain.
Proficiency with SAP IBP, ECC, APO, or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with other planning software or custom Excel planning tools is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and German; ability to collaborate across departments and cultures.
