In this role you will define and secure competitive and resilient sources of supply for the category Components in collaboration with all global Accelleron divisions (product and service business), countries and the global functions, targeting highest productivity in consideration of cost, capital employed, OTD, quality and resilience in accordance with the SCM Strategy. You will be reporting to Head of Direct Material Sourcing.Your responsibilities:Strategy:Develop and implement the category strategy and targets in accordance with overall SCM and Division strategies to achieve profitable growth, supply chain resilience and sustainabilityAccountability:Direct lead of local Category Managers and functionally local category leaders in the other locations worldwideSecure a cost competitiveness, a high overall global quality standard and a high availability of parts to improve the Accelleron competitiveness and customer focusCollaborate with and provide guidance to global teams across sourcing hubs to enhance resilience, cost efficiency, quality, and on-time deliveryDrive the development of the sourcing hubs to reduce lead times for new parts development and sample releases on siteFoster and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and long-term partnershipEvaluate and develop new suppliers and secure supply sourcesAssign sourcing of category parts to different regions and drive the supplier developmentGlobal contract management and negotiations for the assigned categoryCoordinate and drive category related investmentsDrive an active supplier risk management to ensure the Accelleron sources of supplyEnsure an appropriate category reporting towards Divisions and countries and other interest groupsSecure and optimize the transport logistics from the suppliers and sourcing hubsGeneral:Recruit and develop essential personnel to build a skilled, high-performing teamEnsure an active retention- and talent developmentYour background:University degree with substantial knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Business Engineering and/or Business AdministrationProven experience in Supply Chain Management, Category Management and experience in production preferableStrong leadership experienceRelevant experience in production / sourcing in an international business environmentStrategic orientation, systematic thinkingStrong personal skills to build relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholdersGood understanding of global markets and customersYour benefits:CanteenChildcareModern office, smart workingFlexible working modelAttractive holiday planRemote work policyEmployee assistance programWe look forward to receiving your application.
