Software Test Engineer Position
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Functional and Non-Functional Testing: Conduct thorough testing of software to guarantee its quality and efficiency across all use cases.
* Developing Test Plans: Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to software interacting with hardware components.
* Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and validate fixes.
* Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with developers, hardware engineers, and project managers to understand requirements and report findings.
* Troubleshooting Hardware-Software Integration Issues: Analyze logs and technical data to troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
* Regression, Performance, and Compatibility Testing: Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing.
* Automation Frameworks and Scripts: Utilize programming skills to assist in building automation frameworks and scripts for repetitive testing scenarios.
* Documentation and Defect Tracking: Document test results, track issues, and follow through to resolution using defect tracking tools.
About You:
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in software testing, with a focus on hardware-specific or embedded software.
* Technical Skills:
* Familiarity with Defect Tracking Tools: Proficient in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
* Programming Languages: Experience or interest in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).
* Automation Tools: Knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Appium).

6. Languages: Proficient in both English and German written and spoken.
