What you can expect
* You take a leading role in the AI Journey of Hapimag by supporting the definition of our AI strategy and being a main part in its execution.
* Challenge our as-is processes and boost their efficiency by bringing in AI features.
* Oversee and implement AI-related features, from content creation to chatbots.
* Drive the process of delivering new features, for both customer and staff-facing systems.
* You play a key role in Hapimag's digital transformation process
What you bring along
* Completed degree (FH, University, ETH) with a focus on computer science or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Software Engineer, preferably backend (Python or Java)
* Good knowledge of large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic design patterns, generative AI, Model Context Protocol and machine learning
* In-depth understanding of modern software architectures and development best practices
* Experience in end-to-end building and operating scalable AI-based systems.
* Proven experience in developing and integrating enterprise applications and solutions.
* Knowledge of DevOps (Kubernetes), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), GCP ecosystem, API gateways (e.g., Apigee) and Pub-Sub technologies (Kafka or similar) is a big plus.
* Fluent communication (oral/written) in English is a prerequisite, German skills and other foreign languages are of significant advantage.
* Proactive, collaborative personality with a high sense of responsibility and didactic skills.
